Okay so maybe I will get off of the fitness and health bandwagon. But not just yet. I want to talk a little bit about your face, and how it relates to health and fitness. You may have heard it said that beauty comes from within. That is very true, happy positive outlook will not only make you seem pretty or, because no one likes a sour person. All you have to do to take years off of your face is smile and be kind to someone. If you don’t do the positive outlook in your day-to-day life. I highly suggest you do that, because being positive keep you happy, and when you’re happy it’s hard for bad things to happen to you stay in place of gratitude.  It wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep a little book of all the things that you are grateful for. We all have so much to be thankful for.  Having an up-beat personality is a great way to attract people to you. Generally speaking, people like to be around happy positive people. That doesn’t mean that you have to be Pollyanna. It just means that you aren’t a big downer. Nobody wants to be around a big downer. Also people do not like know-it-alls.  To be honest, people really like people who listen.  So be a good listener and you will be a good friend and you will have more friends!  As my dad used to say, if you want to have a friend be a friend. Pretty simple, huh?

Well it seems I am on the topic of fitness and health. That’s good! I’ve talked a bit about healthy eating, although I could talk about it a lot more. But now I’d like to give you some tips on how to get fitness into your busy day. It’s a wonderful idea, if you don’t have one to get yourself a pedometer.  With pedometer you can measure how many steps you take in a day. It doesn’t really matter how fit you are now just where it on a normal day and see how many steps you take. Then, you can challenge yourself to increase her steps just a little bit more each day. Now I know some of you are probably thinking, how many steps should I be taking?  Well they say, between 8 to 12,000 steps is a very good range in order to stay fit.  But you know, if you currently lead a sedentary life in the steps that you take better, more than the steps you took yesterday is better. And let’s just say that you do a lot of walking for your profession. If you do, then you’re going to want to increase your amount of walking each day until you are walking more than you normally do.  If you can set your watch to go off once in our work you have a little alarmed that you can set either on your computer or your desk or he might need to get up and do some walking. Go talk to someone instead of sending them an e-mail.

If you follow the my pretty sissy blog, you know that in the last few blog entries. I have been discussing healthy living. I think this is a very appropriate topic for a Mommy Mistress to discuss with her pretty sissies.  Was it always your mommy who said each your vegetables?  Didn’t that same mommy also remind you to brush your teeth and wash your face?  That’s what good mommies do. Mommies tell their pretty little sissies how to be girlie how to eat right, and how to stay fit and trim.  So that’s what I’m doing for you all. I would tell you to take vitamins, but I think they’re big waste. Except of course, if you get a cold or an infection of some kind. Then you need to take Echinacea goldenseal every hour on the hour until the bottle is gone. That’s what I do and it nips my sicknesses in the bud.  But you also need to drink a lot of water and make sure that you take care of yourself in general. It’s probably not a good idea to eat a lot of fast food. Although, there are some places offering very healthy choices. If I have to eat fast food I eat Subway.  You can choose very healthy options there.  Generally I like the vegetable subs on wheat bread with just mustard and a little Italian dressing. Oh my, this is making me hungry! And if you stay away from the cookies and chips. You’ll be doing yourself a big favor.

If you remember in my last my pretty sissy blog entry, I was extolling the virtues of healthy meeting and exercise. Not so much because they’re good for you, although that is true. But because they will make you have a more girlie shape and give you more girlie eating habits. And we all know how girlie you sissies want to be. So you should be stocking up on big salads, lots of fruits, beans and legumes, and as I mentioned plant-based oils. Now, what are plant-based oils?  Those are the oils to write from plant’s! For instance, all of the oils contained in nuts and seeds are very, very good for you. Also, all lives in all of oil are great! You can get oil from avocados, and, hold onto your hats, chocolate! If you haven’t already developed a love affair with chocolate, you seriously need to.  Chocolate makes the world go round. You thought it was sex, right? Nope. It’s chocolate. Ask any woman and she will tell you that many of us get up in the morning knowing that there will be chocolate at some point in our day.  Now the best chocolate is dark chocolate.  Dark chocolate has lots of antioxidant properties that are very very good for you. As with anything if you do all things in moderation will have a healthy balanced life.  The reason I am telling you this is that I have had people ask me what I eat. It’s not easy staying healthy, but it’s well worth it.

So how are my pretty sissies doing on the fitness front?  Are you all getting plenty of exercise and eating well?  You know, it will not only feel good. It will make you look good too!  A nice brisk walk, especially if you’re dressed in a cute little pink jogging suit could make you feel really good about yourself.  And let’s face it. If your eating habits are meat and potatoes that’s manly. And we all know how much you do not want to be manly. So you should start eating more like girls do, what kinds of things do girls eat? Well, we eat lots of salads, we all love our smoothies in the morning, our fruit smoothies, we’re crazy about fruit in general, and most of us do not eat much meat. If we do eat meat, we prefer chicken and fish. A great alternative to meat of any kind in this economy has its post… nutritious and affordable are beans and legumes.  Beans and legumes are very, very tasty. I actually preferred them to meet. Although I am not a vegetarian because I love bacon so much! And I have been known to enjoy a steak, but unlike a man I cannot eat that every day.  Also it’s always good to stay away from processed foods. As a matter of fact, as I like to say, if you can’t hunt it, pick it or milk it, don’t need it.  And the best kind of oils that you can eat are plant-based oils.  More on this later!

So my pretty sissies, I hope you’re all having fabulous summers. Summer is a fabulous time to be out and about wearing a pretty summer dress and sandals. I just love summer! Why last night Ms. Will and I went up to our deck and we just looked at the stars for a long, long time.  We were sipping on a glass of red wine and marveling at the beauty of the night sky. Now that’s not something you can do in the winter time. In the wintertime it’s too cold to go outside and look at the stars on most nights. But in the summer time, you can actually spread a blanket out on the grass and lay down and look at the stars for hours and hours.  It’s actually a very romantic thing to do. If you haven’t yet laid out on a blanket under the stars sharing a bottle of wine with someone you love, I highly recommend it.  Those are some of the little pleasures of summer. Another thing that I love to do in the summer time is run through the sprinklers. When it’s a hot day, nothing will cool you off better than a quick jaunt through the water. And if you don’t have a swinging pool. You can get one of those little kiddie pools from the grocery store. Those little kiddie pools are so much fun. Fill them up in the morning and then let them sit in the hot sun, and by the sun down, the water is tepid and fabulous.  And if you live in a rural part of the world. You can actually skinny dip in your kiddie pool!

What it is it’s like a party line, you call in and your favorite Mistress talks, and you all you to listen. Some of the events are more like bedtime stories. And some of them are alike actual parties! How fucking cool is that?  It’s a great way to get your freak on without having to spend a lot of money. There is a 10 minute minimum but for 10 bucks? Heck, you can have a really good time! Awesome!

I just had a spa day yesterday. Yes, for my birthday, I got a gift card to a spa. I had a massage, I got a manicure, I got a pedicure, I got a facial (and no, not that kind of facial!), I got a wrap and I had a few glasses of champagne.  You don’t need me to tell you, that it was a very special day! I had a glorious time basking in all of that pampering.  It was amazing! I can hardly wait to go back to the spot again. If you have never had a spot day, that’s okay. Perhaps you can’t afford a spa day.  Maybe, you are just very bashful, and you don’t want to go to the spa because you are a big old sissy. That’s okay. You can do these things at home! Well giving yourself a massage perhaps not, unless of course, you’re going to give yourself a one handed massage! And we all know, how very good you are at that. However, I think it’s really a good idea for you to give yourself a manicure and a pedicure once a week and you can even give yourself a facial (and again, for all of the dirty minds, not that kind of facial!).  There are all kinds of facial products you can purchase at your local big box store.
