It was really an intense moment. And, as you get older, you will only come to understand the precise intensity of it even more. As a matter of fact, if you want to hear this story again, for any reason, you be sure and let Mommy know, okay? Stories, people, places things, events, they all seem to take on a different meaning as we get older and have similar experiences ourselves. I was brought back to reality by that penetrating stare of your father’s. ‘Oh, of course not, I have a few things I need to do anyway.’ I said, hoping to relax him. He went on to add, ‘I hope I am not overstepping my bounds here, but the seafood vendor stopped by today to see if we wanted to purchase some market fresh items. You know, the diner doesn’t offer lobster, but he sold me two lobster tails at cost. Do you think they will complement the meal you have planned?’ Well, I could hardly believe it! ”
